From the end of the campground, the trail wanders through the forest with lots of aspens and alders, and up to Bull Canyon. This area is administered by the BLM and most land is marked so respect the range and try not to trespass off the graded roads. The city of Randolph was named after Randolph H. Stewart and is the largest city near the range. It starts south of Magic Mountain Ski Resort and continues south into Utah. A jeep trail gets close to the southwest ridge.
